Terms and disclaimer

The short version, in plain words. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

This is not legal advice

ArcRedress is not a law firm, not a solicitor, and not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Nothing it produces is legal advice. It helps you prepare your own case and write your own letters, and you send them as yourself.

It can be wrong

The system is checked continuously — every legal sentence it writes is quoted from a source it fetched from the publisher, and it refuses to write a letter about law it has not read. It is still capable of anomalies: a date read wrongly from what you typed, a provision that has been amended since it was last fetched, an argument that does not fit your circumstances.

Use it to sharpen your own judgement, not to replace it. Read what it gives you. Check the deadline against the source we link. If something does not match your situation, change it or leave it out.

Deadlines are yours

A missed deadline can end a case. We show you how every date was worked out, and from which rule, precisely so you can check it. Do check it. If a date is close, act on the earlier reading of it.

What you agree

By using ArcRedress you accept that you are responsible for what you send and for the decisions you take. To the fullest extent the law allows, ArcGabriel Ltd and ArcRedress are not liable for any loss, cost, or outcome arising from your use of the system — including a case that is lost, a deadline that is missed, or a letter that does not achieve what you hoped.

Nothing here removes rights you have under law that cannot be excluded, including your rights as a consumer.

Where to go instead, or as well

Free, specialist, human SEND advice exists and is often excellent: IPSEA, your local SENDIASS, and the tribunal's own guidance. We will point you at them whenever they are the better answer.

A longer form of these terms is with a solicitor for review. This page will be updated when it returns, and the date of the change recorded.
